These terms apply to the Ghana pilot. The artist sees the exact package and amount again before Paystack opens. Accepting them creates a dated record in the project history.
Service and timing
Best Possible is same-day cleanup with no included revision. Release Ready is mix and master within two days with one revision. Surgical allows up to 14 days after the creative direction and required milestone payment are confirmed, with two revisions.
Payments
Best Possible and Release Ready are paid only to unlock final files after a preview. Surgical uses the selected engineer’s local-currency service quote, fixed when booked. A separate Hashtag booking fee is shown before booking; service payments follow 50%, 25% and 25% milestones. Engineers receive 80% of the service price, with rounding reconciled across installments. Hashtag retains the entire booking fee and pays processing fees from its share. The final engineer share remains held until the artist explicitly approves the current final delivery. Provider confirmation, available funds and any dispute review govern transfer completion. A pending or failed payment never unlocks work or files.
Cancellation and refunds
Before work starts, a mistaken duplicate payment or a service Hashtag cannot supply is refunded to the original payment method. Once work begins, completed milestones are not refundable; any unstarted milestone is. This does not remove rights that Ghanaian law does not allow Hashtag to exclude.
Revisions and approvals
A revision changes the agreed brief; a new creative direction, new files, or new arrangement may require a new quote. Surgical includes two rounds, Release Ready one, and Best Possible none. Extra Surgical rounds require a separately agreed quote. Final approval is recorded in project history and completes included revisions. Review the current final before approving it.
Artist responsibilities
The artist must own or have permission for every vocal, beat, sample, feature and instruction submitted, provide usable files, review previews promptly, and keep account access secure. The artist remains responsible for release clearances and credits.
Source quality
The Recording Report records available setup and file facts, but does not guarantee perfect detection. Hashtag cannot safely restore information absent from clipped, noisy, distorted, compressed or incomplete source recordings.
Disputes and chargebacks
Contact Hashtag first through the project help form. Hashtag reviews the agreed brief, terms acceptance, payment confirmation, messages, revisions, previews and delivery records. A chargeback does not cancel payment legitimately owed for delivered work.
Files and privacy
Projects are available only to the artist, assigned engineer and authorized Hashtag operations staff. Payment card details are handled by Paystack, not stored by Hashtag. Service providers may process data outside Ghana subject to applicable safeguards. Retention is 60 days for unfinished work and 90 days for paid work during the pilot.
Creative results and liability
Taste is subjective and Hashtag does not promise commercial success, playlist placement or a particular audience response. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, any remedy is limited to the amount paid for the affected project.
Interruptions
If a device, browser, network or storage failure interrupts recording or upload, Hashtag will preserve recoverable drafts where technically possible. The artist should verify important takes and keep exported source copies.
Changes
The version accepted for a project governs that purchase. Material changes apply only to later purchases unless the artist expressly accepts them. Ghana law governs, and the parties should first try good-faith resolution through Hashtag support.
Contact
Use “Need help?” inside the project for payments, delivery or disputes. Keep the project ID and payment reference; they allow Hashtag to investigate without exposing card information.
Pilot legal draft: this wording adds practical protections and transparent customer remedies, but should be reviewed by a Ghana-qualified lawyer before live payments are enabled.
